For this project, I gathered together old snap shots of friends and family that I shot in my former home in San Francisco over the last 20 years. I then slide projected portions of these photographs back onto the same sites where I originally took them. Adding a combination of artificial and natural light, I then re-photographed these scenes in color.
By using site-specific projections and light in my former home, my intention was to speak about presence and absence, and the fragility of memory.
